Bear Creek at Linville offers some of the most beautiful
real estate in North Carolina. With it's beautiful setting in the
mountains of North Carolina, and consisting of 145 acres that
will become home to just a fortunate few. There are sunsets
over the lake, long range mountain views, and beautiful lots
nestled in the majestic woods. Already under construction
are creek side garden homes and town homes above the creek.
There is something available for everyone.
In addition to the cool, crisp mountain air, there are
hiking trails that cross over trout streams with water so
clean and pure, you'll just have to stop and take a drink.
There is a nature preserve where you can leave all your
worries behind and get lost in the wonder of all that
surrounds you. A place where nature and mankind can live in
harmony. Who would want to live anywhere else?
Bear Creek is located 2 miles south of Linville Town Center,
on US Highway 221 and 181. A centrally located community
near many area attractions.
Grandfather Mountain: One of North Carolina's top
attractions is located 4 miles to the north, and is a wonder
in itself. Hugh Morton has done an outstanding job on his
mountain. He has created a beautiful habitat for injured
animals and birds. It is done so well that no animal has to
feel like it is caged. There is a nature museum as well as
some of the best hiking and picnic grounds anywhere. Some of
the annual events held there include the Highland Games and
Singing on the Mountain.
Golf Courses: A number of challenging courses are
nearby, both public and private.
Linville Falls: Spectacular waterfalls, views, hiking
trails and picnic grounds.
Blowing Rock: Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, with
outstanding shops, restaurants and the well known "Art in
the Park" held monthly from May to October.
There is constant activity in all the small towns each
summer from quilt making to making apple butter in the fall.
Local arts and crafts are everywhere. Live theater in both
Blowing Rock and Banner Elk featuring local and off Broadway
talent. There is no time for boredom in these beautiful
mountains. |
